St.Kitts and Nevis are the competition’s new boys and are making a really good fist of competing with the established teams in CPL ’15.
Carlos Brathwaite: He failed to make the starting line up for the first match, but Brathwaite has shown his worth ever since and leads the Patriots in batting average. He has made useful contributions in the last two games against the Tallawahs.
Strike Rate: 202.5
Devon Thomas: Not much to speak about for Thomas in terms of batting. The Patriots miss the injured Nicolas Pooran’s ability with the bat.
Strike Rate: 81.48
Orlando Peters: Peters had another duck in the last game, his second of the competition, and will need a better effort soon in order to keep his place in the side.
Strike Rate: 93.1
Shahid Afridi: Given that he was the first pick in the draft the Patriots could be forgiven for feeling a little underwhelmed by the performances of “Boom Boom. However, he could produce a big performance at any moment, and his bowling in the last game against the Tallawahs was exceptional.
Runs: 44 (0 x 4/ 3 x 6)
Marlon Samuels: Captain Samuels has led by example with the bat, hitting two half-centuries in his five innings. His only failure came against the Tridents, and he’ll get a chance to make amends tonight.

Strike Rate: 130.35
Sohail Tanvir: Now through five games, Tanvir boasts one of the best economy rates in the competition at 5.94. His opening bowling partnership has been key to the Patriots’ success.
Sheldon Cottrell: After an inconsistent start to the tournament, Cottrell was spectacular in the victory over the Tallawahs and grabbed his first three wicket bonus of the competition. Can he repeat against the Tridents?
Martin Guptill: Apart from the opening match, when he had just gotten off a flight, Guptil has been excellent in the competition. His scores since then are as follows: 23, 53, 34, 35. That’s about as consistent as you’ll ever see in T20 cricket.
Runs: 159 (11 x 4/ 7 x 6)
Strike Rate: 121.37
Ewin Lewis: Lewis made just 19 runs in his first three innings, but has come up big for the Patriots in the last two with a total of 116 runs. His spectacular 82 against the Tallawahs will make him a popular selection for Daily Fantasy CPL tonight.
Runs: 145 (13 x 4/ 8 x 6)
Strike Rate: 127.19
Tabraiz Shamsi: Took 4/23 in the victory over the Tallawahs and now has six wickets for the tournament. We’ll soon learn whether it was a fluke, or whether he’s worth a regular place in our fantasy line ups.
