Daily Fantasy EPL Picks: West Ham v. Liverpool

fantasy premier league picks gameweek 25

After a big game in terms of the title race on Sunday, Monday night football returns with the chance for Liverpool to add more vital points in their search of a first Premier League win.

There’s also a chance for you to win cash prizes at PlayON, with Daily Fantasy competitions on offer for the game and for all rounds of the Premier League.

To help with that, I have picked out the best plays for the game.

West Ham v. Liverpool

Playing after their title rivals, Liverpool will know pre-game if City have closed any of the five point gap at the top. Best case scenario for the Reds could see them eight points clear at the end of the round with a win here.

The history would suggest the visitors have a good chance of the win. From the 45 previous clashes, the Reds have won 27 to the Hammers’ nine and have won each of the last four with four goals scored in each.

Add in that West Ham are one win in five and two losses on the bounce without scoring and you can’t see past the visitors for the win. Looking at their players for PlayON purposes then.

No goal last out, but 16 for the season and eight assists speaks for itself. Mo Salah (£17m) cots an arm and a leg, but will win most games for the Reds and averages 1955. Must have!

Value Pick

Picking up 13 clean sheets for the term, making 50 saves and averaging over 900, you can do a lot worse than Alisson (£7.2m).

Playing a Hammers side that hasn’t scored in their last two increases the chances of another clean sheet.

POD Pick

A couple of quieter weeks will serve to keep Xherdan Shaqiri (£11.1m)’s ownership low here. But to me, that just means he’s due, especially if he gets a start in this one.

He has shown what he can do earlier in the season, so if he goes again here, the score could be juicy and set you apart from the many who won’t have him.

Another round down and we’re flying towards May now. Plenty more action from the Premier League and PlayON before then however, so get your lineups in and then check back next week for Round 26 action.

Good luck!
