There’s four games coming at you in an action packed Sunday of Premier League action, including the Manchester Derby!
PlayON are coming at you as well, with Daily Fantasy offerings for the day as per usual. That means I am also coming at you with my best picks of players for your sides from the days games.
Liverpool v Fulham
Despite conceding a late equaliser to Arsenal, Liverpool remain one of the three unbeaten sides in the league, all of them in action on Sunday. Fulham suffered another loss last out and sit bottom of the ladder with just the one win.
Not too much to say in this one, I cannot see past a home win and will be loading up on their players for my PlayON sides.
Six goals in ten starts have seen Sadio Mane (£14m) achieve a PlayON average of 1300. That comes without any assists yet, so if he starts to provide a few as well, the scores could get even bigger.
This is a game where the Reds could put on a few goals so expect him to be involved.
Mr. Reliable, James Milner (£8m) rocketed home the winner last out and has two goals and two assists for the season.
An average over 850 is good value for money and I do not see him slowing down any time soon.
Chelsea v Everton
The second of the unbeaten sides in action here as Chelsea host an Everton side in good form themselves. In the past five rounds, Everton’s loss to United in round ten is the only loss for either side.
Chelsea have the edge in head-to-head, leading 25-9 from 52 meetings. Everton have only scored in one of the past five matchups between the sides as well. That said, I can see them at least sneaking one in this, so avoiding defenders is my play, at least for their defensive qualities.
Getting 26 minutes from the bench last week, Eden Hazard (£16m) still managed an assist, and his DFS average is now staggeringly above 2000!
It is a big outlay, but well worth it for the seven goals and four assists he has so far.
I tipped him last week and he delivered. Two more goals for Richarlison (£9.2m) takes him to six goals and an assist for the season and an average of 1400.
In form and looking to continue that here, if the Toffees are to score I can see the Brazilian being involved.
With all the hype around Hazard, it might be easy to miss the fact that Ross Barkley (£8.8m) has three goals and three assists this season, scoring at 1100 along the way.
If the focus remains on the other big guns in the Blues sides, bringing Barkley in is a good way to differentiate your PlayON side.
Arsenal v Wolves
After a good start, Wolves have lost three on the trot to slip out of the top half. By contrast, Arsenal lost their first two but could make it ten unbeaten here after a great run. You would make them good odds to do so, having not lost to Wolves since the 70s. In the Premier League, the sides have met eight times and the Gunners have win seven, drawing the other.
Definitely Arsenal players from a DFS perspective, but given the Gunners have only two clean sheets, perhaps consider a sneaky Wolves forward.
With the equaliser last week, Alexandre Lacazette (£14m) takes his tally for the season to five goals four assists. His PlayON average is up at a more-than-handy 1720 as well.
The Gunners will put some goals on Wolves here and the Frenchman is my best bet to be on the scoresheet in current form.
The smart money continues to be on Granit Xhaka (£8.7m) and his 1200+ average. Continuing to be given game time and seemingly in charge of set pieces, the Swiss has ample opportunity to snag the odd goal or assist to keep his average up.
With the Gunners strong favourites, there is a good chance Wolves players miss out in a few people’s PlayON squads. However, if the visitors are to sneak a goal are two, there is potential value in the most likely scorer of that goal, Raul Jimenez (£8.9m).
Man City v Man United
Closing out the round is a big one, with the two Manchester sides going head to head. City the last of the three unbeaten sides playing today, they sit atop the table. United have shrugged off a shaky start to be unbeaten in the last four and climb back into seventh ahead of this one.
In 42 encounters, United lead 21-13 in terms of wins, many stemming back to “pre-cash” City, although they did win the last meeting back in April.
Always tough to predict a derby, but I can see the home side edging it. I do not know if I can see them doing it to nil though, so there is scope for players from both sides in your PlayON sides.
Dodgy Champions League penalties aside, you cannot look past the whipping 2200 average of Raheem Sterling (£15.7m). In nine appearances, the forward has six goals and five assists, a fantastic return.
Look to him to continue his good form and lock him in for your sides.
Another goal last week sees the value in David Silva (£10.4m) continue to rise. Three goals, two assists for the season and much more to come from the Spaniard.
You cannot argue with his price for a 1550 average, jump on.
With United going off as outsiders in this one, many will jump mainly on City players. But as I said above, I feel like the Red Devils will sneak at least a goal.
On current form, the most likely to snag that goal is Anthony Martial (£10.8m). The Frenchman has scored five in his last four games, has hit a PlayON average just under 1500 and is keeping Lukaku out of the starting side. If he scores here, most may not have him in their sides.
That is the end of another matchday and another round. Make sure you head to the lobby to enter your Sunday teams so you do not miss out on the prizes on offer.
A week off from Premier League action, but I will be back in a fortnight for the round 12 preview.
