Daily Fantasy Premier League Picks: Sun-Mon

daily fantasy premier league picks week 7

Another big Saturday means there is just the one game for both Sunday and Monday football. PlayON are still here for both days though with Daily Fantasy offerings to keep the games interesting.

To give you the best chance of making some money from them as well, I have cast my eye over the games coming up and highlighted the players I feel are primed to score big for your sides.

Cardiff v. Burnley

Sunday’s game sees Burnley travel to Cardiff. Both sides struggling so far, with only one win between them. What a win it was though, with the Clarets thumping Bournemouth 4-0 last week. At the same time, Cardiff were being hammered 5-0 themselves by Man City.

No history at this level, but you would assume that the visitor’s confidence can see them home in this one. That assumption has shaped my best PlayON picks for this game:

Gun

Not as much to get excited about from a DFS perspective compared to some other games this weekend, but the standout is probably Joe Hart (£8m).

A second clean sheet of the season last week, England’s former number one has made 31 saves this season, the most of any keeper. An away game always increases the chances of facing more shots and a few extra save points wouldn’t go amiss here.

Value Pick

With many of the players on offer priced very cheap, even a middle of the range average PlayON score would present great value. Such value exists in the form of Víctor Camarasa (£6.2m).

Just a single goal so far, but an average of 900 is batting a fair way above his basement price. An 850 last week shows he can also score well without an attacking stat boost, so a good score awaits if he does bag another goal or an assist.

POD Pick

A risky one, but one that may pay off if lucky. It relies on Ashley Barnes (£8.3m) earning a start after two goals last week. If he does get the call, his limited minutes in recent weeks, leading to his modest DFS average, might see his ownership stay low. It would also set you apart if he scores around 2500 again. Eyes on the teamsheets.

Bournemouth v. Crystal Palace

Closing out the round sees one final game on Monday between Palace and Bournemouth. It also means one final set of PlayON EPL offerings for the week that I have picked out players for.

Both sides sit around mid-table even after the Cherries’ thrashing from Burnley last week. Palace are scoring less that this week’s opponents, but are also conceding less and have two more clean sheets (and three from their six games so far).

A lot of score draws in the history of this one, including a pair of 2-2 ties in last season’s games. The stats are not pointing towards the defenders, but I would go for Palace’s if any.

Gun

If Bournemouth are a tad embarrassed by the thrashing last week and come out firing here, expect big things from Ryan Fraser (£9.2m). The Cherries’ best player last season has probably been so again this term, with three goals and two assists already. Expect him to be involved in any home side goals.

Value Pick

Back-to-back clean sheets for just £6.3m. You can’t argue with bringing Aaron Wan-Bissaka into your sides at that price. The only minutes he has missed so far have been through suspension, so his position also seems pretty secure, lock him in without any worry.

And that draws us to a close for another week. Head to the Games Lobby to enter your final PlayON side for the round and rest up ahead of another thrilling weekend of action coming up for round eight.

Good Luck!
