Premier League Picks: Everton v. Burnley

premier league picks gameweek 37

There are just two rounds to go in the Premier League season for 2018-19, but there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Who out of City and Liverpool the title and who ends up with the unwanted honour of highest points tally not to lift the trophy? Who takes the coveted European places? Which of Brighton and Cardiff join Huddersfield and Fulham in dropping to the second tier?

Plenty still to play for across the table then, and plenty to play for at PlayON, with Daily Fantasy offerings in play throughout the round.

To give to the best chance of taking home the cash, I have picked out my best players for your sides across the weekend, starting with the Friday night game.

Everton v. Burnley

Two sides in good form to start off the weekend, with just one loss and one draw for each across the last five. Some good scalps in there too, with Everton beating United and Arsenal and Burnley holding Chelsea before narrowly losing to City last out.

A fixture that has occurred nine times before at this level, without yielding a draw. The Toffees edge the head-to-head 5-4 after a 5-1 win back on Boxing Day. Hard to pick with the sides in form, but I’m probably just leaning towards the hosts.

Nothing doing in a 0-0 with Palace last out, but Gylfi Sigurdsson (£13.1m) remains the highest average in this one by a country mile, a good 250 clear of the nearest competitor.

With 13 goals and five assists for the season, the midfielder can finish with his best Premier League return with another attack stat or two and shapes as one of the key threats for the Toffees.

Value Pick

On top of 12 clean sheets, Seamus Coleman (£7.3m) also has a goal, two assists and a PlayON average of 1170.

At his price, that’s an absolute steal, especially if he pops up with a sneaky goal or assist here.

One game down, but plenty still to go through Saturday, Sunday and Monday so be sure to check back in for those previews. In the meantime, be sure to lock in your lineup.

Good luck!
