The Week 13 Monday night game sees Newcastle travel to Burnley on the back of two straight wins, their first for the season. The Clarets are winless in six and will be chasing a break here.
PlayON are on hand for this one with DFS offerings for the game. To assist, I have picked out my best for the game to give your sides the best chance possible.
These team’s four previous encounters have seen three score draws and a Burnley win. Both sides are not scoring too well so far but are both also conceding more than they score, which makes it tougher one to pick. There is probably room for players on both sides here, but with the recent form and the fact that Burnley ship a few more goals, there may be a slight edge for visiting players in your sides.
Far and away the best average, and highest price tag, in this game belongs to Johann Gudmundsson (£10.3m). Two goals and five assists for the season to go with three clean sheets have seen the midfielder amass an average close to 1350, around 300 ahead of anyone else who will be on the field here.
In a game that could go either way, he would be my first choice to be involved in any Clarets goals.
Finally off the mark in his new colours in the league, Salomón Rondón (£6.7m) banged in two last week. Picking up his average of 1040 for that price is excellent value for money.
Should come into this in full confidence now, expect the front man to start scoring with more regularity now.
Given a quiet season so far and a fairly mediocre average of 850, it will be easy to overlook Matt Ritchie (£8.3m) for your PlayON sides.
The winger can turn it on though, and when he does, he is often a good bet for the odd goal or assist. Continues to get big minutes too, which shows the managers faith in him. If he can repay that here, I reckon he will not be in too many other sides.
And with that we close out another round and are over a third of the way through the season. Head to the Games Lobby to get your Monday night teams in and we will see you back here next week for Round 14.
