Daily Fantasy Premier League Preview: Week 13 (Sun)

daily fantasy premier league preview week 13 - fantasy premier league picks

We have two games coming your way in terms of Sunday football action. There is plenty of action at PlayON too, with the Daily Fantasy Premier League offerings continuing throughout Week 13.

To ease your selection headaches, I’ve had a go at picking out my best from the players on offer today, from must-have guns to under-priced value plays, with the odd POD pick thrown in for good measure.

Bournemouth v. Arsenal

No wins for either in the last couple have not stopped this one being a fifth against sixth clash, with the Cherries continuing to be one of the surprise packages so far.

The sides have faced off six times at this level, with the Gunners leading 4-1 in terms of wins. The one win for the Cherries did come in the last meeting though, so they will be keen to go back to back here.

Can see an away win in this, but can also see the hosts scoring given only two clean sheets for Arsenal so far, so maybe avoid the defenders here.

For all of the talent and firepower in the Gunners lineup, the top two DFS scorers in this game are Cherries players. Boasting the highest is Callum Wilson (£10.4m) with a cracking return of six goals and seven assist so far, taking his average PlayON score to 1450.

Goals and assists throughout the season, the striker shows no signs of slowing down and could trouble an Arsenal defence that has leaked a few goals.

Value Pick

All the good visiting players are priced high, with the exception of maybe Xhaka, who I have spoken about in earlier weeks. So for me the value largely sits with the home side and with Ryan Fraser (£9.8m) in particular.

The Scot has scored three and set up six this season and holds an impressive average of 1440, which is a must have for under £10m.

Wolves v. Huddersfield

The second Sunday game sees Huddersfield travel to Wolves. The Terriers followed up a first win for the season with a point against West Ham last out but remains in the relegation places. Wolves had started the season strong, but no win in four sees them slip into the lower half.

First meeting between the sides at this level, but on form so far I have to go for the hosts, given the visitors’ struggles to find the net. Players for the home side for the PlayON squads then.

Gun status for this week sits with Raúl Jiménez (£9.1m). The forward has a goal and two assists in his last two outings and a great DFS average of 1435 that has been maintained through a quieter spell for his team.

The form and consistency is there and the fact that the Terriers like to ship the odd goal makes him an even more enticing pick for your sides.

Value Pick

While he does have a potential facial injury to battle against, Matt Doherty (£7.6m) is still expected to play this week. If he does, the value of a 1400 average for under £8m is undeniable.

A goal, two assists and four clean sheets contributing to the points and a great chance for adding to any and all of those stats here.

POD Pick

If there are any PlayON players picking based on player averages, they will overlook Ivan Cavaleiro (£7.2m) and his 825 average.

Looking deeper, though, you see that is driven by lower game time earlier on and that the game time is increasing more recently. That culminated in a goal in the draw at Arsenal last out so expect another crack for him here.

Short and sweet, that’s Sunday over and done with. Head to the PlayON Games Lobby to enter your teams and check back here for the last game for the round in Monday’s preview.

Good luck!
