Daily Fantasy Preview: Man City v. Wolves

daily fantasy premier league preview week 22

Tonight we see the first Monday Night Football of 2019, and it is one that could play a pivotal role in the reignited title race.

It could also play a big role in making your some money too, as PlayON are here with Daily Fantasy offerings to keep the game interesting. To help you in your quest for the cash positions, I have picked my best DFS plays below to try and help set your teams apart from the rest.

Man City v. Wolves

City beat Liverpool last round to close the gap at the top to four points and make the battle for the title all the more interesting – to the neutral at least. Wolves also managed a win over Liverpool in the FA Cup so will come into this with confidence.

Nine games at this level before, but eight of them were pre-2012. The one that matters a bit more is the 1-1 draw back in August.

Even with Wolves’ results against some of the big teams so far, I cannot see past City for this one, especially after closing the gap on Liverpool last week. They have conceded in each of their last five though, so there is potentially room to be made in PlayON sides for whoever scores any Wolves consolation goal(s).

Gun

After a bit of a barren spell, Sergio Agüero (£15m) has two in his last two and ten goals, seven assists for the season.

The average is pushing back up to near-1400, though. Jump on now that he’s back in form.

Value Pick

The attacking output hasn’t been huge for Rúben Neves (£8.5m) with just two goals and an assist, but he has still managed to average around the 1050 mark, which is one of the better average for price ratios in this game.

Adding in the fact he comes into this having scored a cracker against Liverpool in the cup and I’m looking at him to get involved in anything Wolves do here.

POD Pick

The average of 550 and the fact he is just returning from injury could mean low ownership for Kevin De Bruyne (£9.4m) this week.

However, the Belgian came through a run out in the League Cup midweek and is expected to line up for this one. If he does, his quality is undoubted and he should hit the ground running.

Another round down – once you’ve headed to the Games Lobby to enter your teams for this round that is!

PlayON will be back for Round 23 next week, which means I’ll be back with them and another round of player picks.

Good luck!
