We have our last game for the round on Monday night, and it’s one which could have a major bearing on where the title ends up. You can’t control who wins the title, but you can control who wins the cash prizes in PlayON’s Daily Fantasy competitions.
Man City v. Leicester
Powering towards the finish line, not a blip to be seen in the recent form for City. They remain on course to win the title by a single point if neither they nor Liverpool drop anymore over the last two rounds. Leicester aren’t in too bad form themselves, with just one loss in five and a good win over Arsenal last out.
The Reds fans will be praying the Foxes can repeat their Boxing Day victory over the Citizens to put a huge dent in their title hopes. In fact the Foxes have a decent record against this opposition – from 15 encounters at this level, the record sits a 7-6 City in terms of wins, with two draws.
It’s hard to see City losing this with the title so close, but with only one clean sheet in the last five against this opposition, you could make room for the right Leicester player in your PlayON squads as well.
The best average of a player in sky blue, Raheem Sterling (£17.5m) has 17 goals and 14 assists from his 32 appearances.
That has led to an average of 1630, which will be eclipsed by his score here if he finds the net.
Basement priced, but City skipper Vincent Kompany (£5.3m) has found his way back into 90 minute games the last few weeks, picking up clean sheets in his last two.
While the average of 680 might even be good enough at the price, his last score of 1195 definitely is!
With City such strong favourites, many may overlook all Foxes players. But that would include Jamie Vardy (£15.2m) who has the best average in this game at 1960 and has come back into goalscoring form of late.
Given Leicester seem to score against the Citizens, there are worse choices you can make than bringing the striker in.
Another round down and just the final round to come, which is an epic ten-game slate next Sunday. Be sure to come back for that massive preview next weekend.
