Premier League Preview: Leicester v. Newcastle

premier league picks round 34

The Premier League moves into round 34 this weekend, but there is still plenty to play for at both ends of the table and plenty of action to come over the last five rounds.

There is plenty of action still to be had at PlayON as well and they are back with Daily Fantasy offerings for the round.

To help you make the most of it, I have picked out my best picks for the games, starting with Friday night’s match.

Leicester v. Newcastle

Newcastle travel south off the back of two losses, following a late Palace winner last and they have almost been dragged back into the relegation dogfight. Leicester have had opposite fortunes and come into this with four wins in four and pushing European places.

Twenty-three meetings at this level and the Magpies lead 10-8 in terms of wins. The Foxes have won four of the last five however and are my pick this week, so I’ll be jumping mainly on their players for my PlayON squads.

Gun

Firmly back on fire, Jamie Vardy (£14.8m) netted twice last week and provided an assist. That’s eight in his last eight and five in his last four.

The average up to 1665, he is a must-have for me!

Value Pick

With two goals and two clean sheets in his last three, Wes Morgan (£7.5m) continues to shape a great value, with his 1180 average up there with some of the forward players, but at a defender’s price.

Solid chance of either a goal or clean sheet here, he’s definitely worth a good look at.

POD Pick

The average won’t appeal to anyone, but Demarai Gray (£6.7m) has seen two full games in the last two. If he goes three in a row here, and adds to his four goals for the season, they are potential points that could set you apart.

That is Friday over and done with – once you head to the Lobby and enter your picks. Plenty still to come over the course of the weekend though, so be sure to check back in for more player picks.

Good luck!
