Front Row – Jeff Toomaga-Allen $6.7m

In the Front Row position, I’m looking at Jeff Toomaga-Allen again after his total of 482 points against the Blues. He beat 5 defenders and he should enjoy more while playing the average Reds defence. He also recorded a season high of 14 tackles for 140 points. His price tag is cheap compared to other front rowers as well.

2nd Row – Sam Lousi $9.9m

The second row position will likely be decided between Rodda and Lousi. I think Lousi has more potential to score big. As he showed last week, he can find the try line as he amassed 520 points. When he plays 80 minutes, he scores over 400 points and should be a solid option at second row.

Back Row – Angus Scott-Young $6.9m

Looking at cheap options for the second back rower position, I like the look of Angus Scott-Young for the Reds. He’s coming off scores of 520 and 400 in back-to-back weeks. He’ll also be in the starting lineup for this clash. He’s played the full 80 minutes in three straight matches and he can find the try line. So for just $6.9 mil, he’s a good 2nd option next to someone like Savea.

Scrum Half – TJ Perenara $11.2m

At scrum half, you really don’t have much too choose from, so Hurricane TJ Perenara is your man. He’s back in the starting lineup against the Reds and can score over 500 points. I think he’ll dominate the Reds defence and beat his average of 404 points.

Fly Half – Jono Lance $12.6m

At Fly Half, Beauden Barrett is a bit expensive so I’ll be looking at Jono Lance. He’s consistently scoring over 400 points and that’s pretty good value for his $12.6 million price tag. He should play around 75-80 minutes and if he limit mistakes, he should earn you around 400-600 points.

Centre – Jordie Barrett $14.7m

Jordie Barrett is back in the starting lineup on Friday and he should get back to scoring around 1000 points. He came off the bench against the Blues and that’s why he totalled 177 points. In his last full match, he scored 1090 points and that’s the kind of total you could get for $14.7 mil.

Back 3 – Filipo Daugunu $13.7m

This pick in the Back 3 comes with a risk but Fijian Filipo Daugunu is looking in scary good form. He’s coming off 1330 points in Japan, which made it two straight weeks of 1000+ points. I say he’s risky because when he doesn’t cross the try-line, he’ll likely score under 1000 points. However, his form at the moment is good enough to find the line against the Hurricanes.
