How to Play Daily Fantasy CPL: Part 1

Get in the Game with PlayON – Home of Official Daily Fantasy CPL

Welcome to PlayON – home of the Official Daily Fantasy CPL game, with over $25,000 in cash prizes to be won throughout the tournament.

PlayON & Digicel will be running a Free Entry $500 cash prize game for every match of the CPL. In addition, the PlayON Leaderboard combines each fan’s Top 3 Match scores over the tournament, with a first prize $1,000.

Daily Fantasy Sports

Getting started is easy – at PlayON you can pick new fantasy teams for each match in the CPL so there is no falling behind. You can also play whenever suits you best – if you miss a game don’t worry, there’s a new game waiting for you the following day.

Picking Teams

You have $100m to spend on 7 players – 1x wicket keeper, 2x batsmen, 2x bowlers and 2x all-rounders.

To get started, visit PlayON.co and choose “Pick Teams” from the menu. Select which game you want to play – Barbados v Guyana or St. Lucia v Trinidad & Tobago – and you’re ready to start picking.

Build your team of 7 from the real-world cricketers playing in that match, from superstars such as Chris Gayle to up-and-coming talent like Nicholas Pooran.

Once you’re happy with your team, click ‘Save’ and you’re ready to enter games!

Don’t worry if you aren’t fully happy with your team – you can come back later and resave it. You can pick and resave as many teams as you like, any time you like right up to the start of the match.

Entering Games

Once you have picked a team, you can then enter it into games. You can view all games on offer by clicking “Enter Games” from the dashboard or the burger menu.

Choose between big cash prizes in the multiplayer games, the glory and bragging rights of the one-on-one games, or anything in between. The table can be filtered by sport, competition, game type, and timeframe by pressing the “Filter Games” button above the table, so it’s easy to find whatever game you are looking for.

You can continue to pick teams and enter games right up to a minute before the scheduled start of the match. You can also view your Saved Teams and Entered Games in the “Saved Teams” and “Entered Games” pages, found in the dashboard and burger menu.

Points Scoring

Your team scores points based on the real-world performance of your players as per the table below:

Scoring

If Chris Gayle hits a six, he will be awarded 80 points (10 points for each run, plus a 20 point bonus). A breakdown of the scoring system can be found by clicking on the “Scoring Matrix” link in the footer.

Live Games

With your teams successfully entered into games, it’s now time for the really exciting part! Cheer every run and dot ball as you watch your players rack up points in real-time. A running total and breakdown of points for each team can be viewed in the “My Live Games” area of the site. You can also see how close you are to landing that big cash prize by keeping track of the leaderboard for each game.

Results

Once a game has concluded and winnings have been paid out – all information regarding your teams and games for that match can be viewed in the “My Results” section of the site – found via the dashboard and burger menu.

Leaderboard

Once a game has finished and has moved to the results section, new games are waiting for you ahead of the next CPL match. The PlayON Leaderboard combines your Top 3 match scores over the entire tournament, with a first prize $1,000. And don’t worry if you haven’t been playing from the start of the tournament, any 3 match scores during the tournament can be taken as your highest so it’s never too late to start.
