The PlayON Pundit picks his fantasy football line up for the coming Gameweek. He’s less about the stats, more about going with your instincts. How many of his picks feature in your line up?
David De Gea (Man Utd)
Leicester have a terrible goal scoring record, away from home, and United’s defence have been pretty good at Old Trafford. De Gea will keep me a clean sheet this weekend.
Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Jose Fonte (Southampton), Hector Bellerin (Arsenal)
Both Arsenal and Southampton have great match ups, at home, against Aston Villa and Swansea respectively. Fonte, in particular, is one of the most consistent PlayON defenders, and I liked how Bellerin bombed forward against Man City. He’ll get tons of chances to do that this weekend.
Daley Blind (Man Utd), Nemanja Matic (Chelsea), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Santi Cazorla (Arsenal)
Blind and Matic routinely rack up the defensive points, which matter more in PlayON than regular Fantasy Premier League. Cazorla and Sterling are the creative forces i’ve gone for. Both are in good form and at home.
Wayne Rooney (Man Utd), Dwight Gayle (Crystal Palace)
Rooney’s goal scoring record, at home this season, has been top class. I expect that to continue against Leicester. Gayle is cheap and has scored three in his last two. He’s also going against a rubbish Everton defence.
