This week’s Super Rugby action kicks off at Eden Park on Friday night with the Blues facing the Hurricanes. The team at Daily Fantasy Rankings are back to provide you with some free daily fantasy tips to help you choose some of the best Super Rugby value picks at PlayON.

Front Row – Jeff Toomaga-Allen $6.1m
We always like cheap Front Row players and this week we’ll back Jeff Toomaga-Allen to score around his average again. He scored 290 points last week and averages 242 points in 2018. For $6.1m, he’s a good cheap option.
2nd Row – Gerard Cowley-Tuioti $7.7m
If you’re looking for a cheaper 2nd Rower, then consider Cowley-Tuioti for the Blues. He’s played 80 minutes in back-to-back matches and can score around 400 points. Last week he scored 385, which did include a few errors and penalties. So if he can limit errors, there’s potential for a decent score.
Back Row – Ardie Savea $13.6m
Hurricane Ardie Savea looks in great form at the moment and hopefully that continues on Friday. He has back-to-back scores of 980 and 725. Last week, he crossed the try line to push his score to 980, so you would figure he can score around 700-800 and there’s potential for an extra 100 points if he crosses the line again.
Scrum Half – Finlay Christie $5.4m
Hurricanes Scrum Half Finlay Christie looks to be a very good option for his price. He scored 523 points in his last Friday match, which did include a try. I think Pulu is a bit risky for his price when Christie could potentially out-score him.
Fly Half – Stephen Perofeta $10.8m
In the Fly Half position, you basically have a choice between Barrett and Perofeta. In the end, Perofeta is priced almost $7m cheaper and still offers good value for his price. He’s coming off 777 points last week, which included a decent amount of run metres. He converts penalty goals for the Blues and does play 80 minutes. So for a cheaper option at Fly Half, slot in Perofeta for around 700-900 points.
Centre – Sonny Bill Williams $11.4m
In the centres, you don’t have many options because of the injury/fitness issue with Jordie Barrett (listed on the bench). So returning this week is the veteran Sonny Bill. He hasn’t played since early March and I’m hoping he’s 100% fit for this contest. He’s averaging 590 points and did have trouble with errors back in March. So if he can clean up his game, he should score above his average.
Back 3 – Ben Lam $12.1m
Ben Lam has been a try-scoring machine in 2018 and that should continue against the Blues this Friday. He’s the leading try-scorer in Super Rugby with 12 and he’s coming off a hat-trick against the Lions. He’s still well priced at $12.1m and usually scores 1100+ when he crosses the try-line. He also played 80 minutes last week after playing just 57 minutes in his previous Friday match. So hopefully the Hurricanes keep him on the field this time.
